Evidence based practice (EBP), also known as Evidence Based Nursing, Evidence Based Medicine or Evidence Informed Practice, is the incorporation of clinical evidence into decision making. Evidence summaries (or syntheses) provide an overview of current research findings to allow practitioners to quickly understand the latest evidence.
