MDRP Portal

Welcome to The Health Sciences Library MDRP support page

This webpage supports the literature review component of the MDRP programme.

  • how to write a literature review
  • expectations of a literature review
  • how to use biomedical databases
  • guidance on how to find relevant literature
  • referencing and using reference management programs

The Health Sciences Library at Royal Melbourne Hospital can offer support to your project by:

  • introducing you to the literature search process
  • group training sessions to  introduce key biomedical databases
  • 1:1 sessions (by appointment) where we analyse your search strategy and results, and provide feedback on how to extend your search further
  • other assistance, such as EndNote troubleshooting or advice about obtaining articles

If you need help starting out, come to talk to us. We will work with you so you can confidently search the literature & identify research articles relevant to your topic.
